Basic knowledge of vectors and layers

File/Save As: 
StringBow.pspimage

2.

Make A Petal

  Foreground Color: #c0c0c0
Background Color: #ffe69f

Flood Fill your image

New Vector Layer: petals

Change: Background Style to Null

Preset Shape Tool [P]
Shape: ellipse
Retain style: NOT Checked
Anti-alias: Checked
Create as vector: Checked
Line Style: +Solid
Width: 6.00

Draw a small ellipse
[169x74to 232x170]
3. Edit The Petal
  Pen Tool [V]
Click on the left node
Hold Down the Shift Key
Click on the right node

Release the Shift Key
tap the up arrow 10 times

Click the top node
Tap the up arrow 2 times

Click the bottom node
Pull the control arm and control handle upwards slightly an inwards slightly
4. Another Petal 
   Layers/ Duplicate

Active layer/ Copy of Vector 1

Image/ Rotate/ free Rotate [Ctrl+R]
Direction: Right
Degrees: Free: 73.00
All layers: NOT Checked
Rotate single layer around canvas center: NOT Checked
OK

Object Selection Tool [O]
Click in the center of the selection

Hold down the Ctrl key
Tap the down arrow 43 times
Tap the right arrow 66 times
5. Third Petal
  Layers/ Duplicate

Active layer/ Copy (2) of Vector 1
Image/ Mirror [Ctrl+M]

Draw a rectangle around all three petals

Delete
Copy of Vector 1 and
