2.

The First Part

Open 112.jpg and check the size  [164x689]
bottom right corner of the desktop

Open a new image the same size

We are doing this because when you use an image as a mask it will become the size of your canvas.  I only want this to be part of my final image so this is how I DID IT.

Flood fill with the Background Color [Right Click]

Image/ Resize [Shift+S]

If you type in the height you want the width will automatically set because we have "Lock aspect ratio: checked"

New Raster Layer
Flood fill with the Foreground pattern [Left Click]

Layers/ New Mask Layer/from Image

Layers/ Merge/ Merge Group

Active Layer: Group - Raster2
Edit/ Copy [Ctrl+C]
